Our very own Committee Member, Simon Potter, was at ‘Creazione Fitness Village’ in Caerphilly to gratefully receive donations on behalf of Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation Trust Fund, from Caerphilly Town Council Mayor Councillor Mike Prew, as his chosen charity for this year.
Alongside members of the Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital Cardiac Rehab Team, who operate from the gym, Simon was presented with a cheque for £2000 plus donations from the Christmas collection and football.
We at GCRTF would like to extend our gratitude to Cllr. Prew for choosing the Trust as his charity for this year – helping us continue to support the rehabilitation of those who have experienced heart problems in Gwent, helping regain quality of life after a cardiac diagnosis. Diolch Yn Fawr!
